I would sincerely like to thank Dr. Alan Lazar for his outstanding professional orthopedic care for 23 years. Through his medical expertise and advanced knowledge in leading edge procedures, he was able to pinpoint the source of by debilitating pain. His expertise game me hope and strength that I would return to a more productive life with an increased level of physical activity. For many months I suffered with pain in my groin, my legs, neck and lower back after physically protecting my 88-year old mother from serious falls and injuries.
I experience severe pain with each step and inability to walk or get up out of a chair without unbelievable pain. Dr. Lazar discussed PRP and Ultrasound Imaging and diagnosed a tear in my hamstring tendon and other right leg muscle tears and damage. We both agreed that I was a good candidate for the PRP procedure. As Dr. Lazar explained, the Platelet Rich Plasma contributed growth factors and stimulating proteins, which helps the healing process.
It takes time and some rest but within 2 weeks I was walking in my pool; 4-6 weeks with my walker on two wheels, I now am confidently standing better and walking greater distances without pain.

I play guitar in a band. After taking a fall in my home, I tore ligaments in both thumbs! Although I initially disregarded it as a simple bruise, the pain got worse. I had also been challenged for years with tendonitis and arthritis from 22 years at American Express working at customer service.
